Flexible modeling
Portunus provides a rich and flexible modeling approach that supports network topology (circuit, mechanical, temperature rise topology), block diagram module (control algorithm setup), state machine, Spice netlist, VHDL-AMS language, C/C++ language, etc. Modeling in multiple ways helps designers achieve rapid modeling of complex electromechanical systems.
Rich device library
Portunus provides circuit, digital control, mechanical, electromagnetic, temperature rise, Spice, power electronics modules and user-defined device libraries.
多领域、多物理场、多层次仿真
Portunus supports component-level accurate simulation of the device, and different levels of component-level simulation models are available in the Spice device library.Portunus also supports coupled simulation of complex systems, including coupled analysis of circuits, magnetic fields, machinery, temperature rise, and digital control. Portunus software provides a very complete and open simulation interface for complete analysis of complex electromechanical systems.

  Support co-simulation with Motor temperature optimization design software Motor-CAD;
  Supports co-simulation with the electromagnetic field and temperature field finite element simulation analysis software Flux2D/3D.
Co-simulation with parameter extraction software InCa3D

In large-capacity power electronics applications, the influence of distributed parameters of high-power power electronic devices needs to be considered. InCa3D software can analyze and extract parasitic parameters of busbars, power switching devices, cables, etc., and integrate them into Portunus through interfaces. In the software, the system is analyzed in detail.
Co-simulation with EasiMotor, a fast motor design analysis software

In electrical systems, magnetic devices such as motors and transformers are the main power devices, which have an important impact on the transient, steady-state performance and power quality of the system. Because the traditional centralized parameter model cannot consider the factors such as saturation and spatial harmonics, it is difficult to accurately analyze the characteristics of overload, imbalance and harmonics of the power supply system.   The joint simulation interface of Portunus and EasiMotor provides a method of field-circuit coupling for accurate simulation of electrical systems. The finite element model is coupled with the system simulator to accurately evaluate various extreme conditions and spatial and temporal harmonics. Under the premise of ensuring the convergence and simulation accuracy of the system, the module supports joint simulation of multiple finite element models and supports distributed computing of finite element models in the local area network.
Support VHDL-AMS modeling
Portunus supports hardware description language VHDL-AMS modeling, which makes simulation modeling more convenient, and also makes model conversion between Portunus and other simulators more convenientVHDL-AMS is an IEEE standard modeling language for describing analog, digital and digital-analog hybrid systems. Currently, most system software supports this language, so it can be used for model conversion between different simulation systemsPortunus supports VHDL-AMS model import, supports online editing of the model, and the editor supports syntax checking, which can effectively reduce syntax errors;VHDL-AMS modeling provides a way to model according to user needs. The established VHDL-AMS model is stored in the component library, making modeling more concise and efficient
Standard API interface
Portunus supports C/C++ modeling and can create component models for all analysis types. With the C/C++ programming interface, data can be exchanged efficiently with other software to achieve co-simulation analysis.
